WELCOME TO BASILDON MARKET

Basildon Market is a traditional market in the heart of Basildon which has been supplying fresh produce and quality goods and services to the local community for over 50 years.

We are ideally located within the Town Centre, next to the mainline railway station (Southend to London), the Bus Station (serving most of Essex) and the taxi rank making it easily accessible to residents and visitors alike.

If you are driving Basildon is easily reached via the A127 and A13, both roads connect with the M25 (junctions 29 & 30) and there are over 4,500 parking spaces within the Town Centre to choose from so, finding a parking space will not be difficult

With over 107 outlets offering a wide variety of goods and services it really is the place to come to experience the atmosphere of a traditional market.

You can get everything you need from fresh fruit and vegetables, cut flowers, baby clothes, sweets, greeting cards, pet foods and accessories, luggage, clothes, health foods, jewellery and much much more.

The market is kept scrupulously clean and tidy by own in house team of cleaners and all the paper waste/cardboard generated by the traders is recycled to help keep us as environmentally friendly as possible.

Tea, coffee, light snacks and food are served all day and toilet facilities are also available.

We operate a special market on Good Friday, hold numerous events throughout the year and are open seven days a week in the run up to Christmas!

So if you are looking for a traditional, friendly market why not come along and see what we have to offer.
